Odette Juliette Annable, née Yustman, was born on May 10, 1985, in Los Angeles County, California, to a Colombian father and Cuban mother.

Her heritage includes French, Italian, and Swiss descent from her father's side, and she grew up near Palm Springs.

Spanish was her first language, and she learned English at age five; she graduated from Woodcrest Christian High School in Riverside.

Annable's acting career began at age five with a role in "Kindergarten Cop," and she later appeared in TV series like "South Beach" and "October Road."

She starred in films like "Reckless Behavior: Caught on Tape," "Cloverfield," "Walk Hard," and "The Unborn."

In 2011, Annable played nurse Annie Miller in "Brothers & Sisters," and later joined "House" as Dr. Jessica Adams, staying until the show's finale in 2012.

In 2014, she was cast as Trudy Cooper in the ABC series "The Astronaut Wives Club."

In 2017, Annable joined "Supergirl" as Samantha Arias/Reign, a character sharing origins with Supergirl and Superman.

 From 2021, she appeared in "Walker" as Geraldine Broussard, a local barkeep and friend of the Walkers.

Annable married her "Brothers & Sisters" co-star Dave Annable in 2010, had two daughters, separated in 2019, reconciled in 2020, and endorsed Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.
