The Shocking Incident

In Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain, a disturbing video has gone viral showing a man letting his nine-year-old son hang dangerously from a moving SUV.

The incident occurred near Chamunda Mata Square around midnight, where a police constable on patrol spotted the boy riding on the vehicle’s running board.

The child, dressed in an all-red outfit, can be seen smiling as he clings outside the door on the driver’s side of the moving SUV.

Police Confrontation

When confronted, the driver — identified as Deepak Pamnani — quickly stopped the vehicle, allowing the boy to jump onto the road.
The constable can be heard saying, “Kya tareeka hai bhai (What is this behaviour?).

Embarrassed, Pamnani apologised on the spot by holding his ears.

Outrage on Social Media

The video spread rapidly on social media, with users demanding strict action.
“Cancel his licence,” one user wrote, while another commented, “If this had happened abroad, the child’s custody would have been taken away.”

Many criticised the father for risking his child’s life “for stunts and fun”.

Legal Action Ordered

According to reports, Pamnani told police he was “just doing stunts for fun.”

While no action was taken immediately due to the late hour, the Madhav Nagar police have now been instructed to begin legal proceedings against him.
