 Kate Upton, born on June 10, 1992, in St. Joseph, Michigan, moved to Melbourne, Florida, in 1999. She attended Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy.

Daughter of Shelley and Jeff Upton, Kate comes from a sports-oriented family. Her great-grandfather co-founded Whirlpool Corporation, and her uncle is former U.S. Representative Fred Upton. 

Upton rose to fame as a model, appearing in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2011 and gracing its cover multiple times. She was also featured on Vanity Fair's 100th-anniversary cover. 

Alongside modeling, Upton pursued acting, starring in films like Tower Heist (2011), The Other Woman (2014), and The Layover (2017). 

In Melbourne, she was an avid equestrian, winning championships with her horses Roanie and Colby. 

Upton excelled in the American Paint Horse Association (APHA), winning three Reserve World Championships and being named Reserve All-Around Champion.
